The Brooklyn Bridge is a hybrid cable-stayed/suspension bridge in New York City and is one of the oldest roadway bridges in the US. It has a length of 5,289 ft. The construction started on Jan 3rd, 1870 and opened to the public on May 24th, 1883. The bridge connects Manhattan and Brooklyn.
